Sarah Hack (All Posts by Sarah Hack):
Sarah is a J.D. candidate in the class of 2012 at Cornell Law School. She solicits content, edits posts, and writes for this blog. In addition to her Senior Note Editor responsibilities, she oversees the associate “beat bloggers” and was responsible for getting this blog up-and-running as a blog. She is extremely grateful for early support from some of her friends and classmates (especially guest bloggers Natasha Bhushan, Caitlin Gunther, Ria Dutta, and James Hicks), her professors, the Cornell Law librarians, and LII. Her legal interests include property law, IP law, animal rights, human rights, sports law, and doing what she can to leave CLS a little better than she found it.
Charles Lopresto:
Charlie is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2012 at Cornell Law School. He is JLPP’s Internet Editor, and he has been responsible for redesigning the blog. He has created many of the images and graphics, and Charlie has also successfully established the JLPP’s presence on Facebook. Charlie is from Scranton PA. In addition to being an aspiring comic book artist, he is also gifted/cursed with an encyclopedic knowledge of second-wave emo music and 1970′s professional wrestling.
James McHale:
James is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2012 at Cornell Law School. He is the JLPP’s Editor-In-Chief, and he has been very supportive of the new blog. Prior to law school, James lived in Washington D.C. where he worked in public opinion polling and travel consulting. His legal interests tend toward the criminal side of things, and he enjoys fulfilling the position of editor-in-chief for JLPP in his spare time.

Suzy Marinkovich (All Posts by Suzy Marinkovich):
Suzy is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. Suzy is a native Californian, coming to JLPP from San Diego. She spent three years between undergrad and law school on a fellowship (from kiva.org) in microfinance where she worked in Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. Suzy is also the vice president of the Women’s Law Coalition. As a devoted San Diego Padres fan, she once served on the PadSquad as a goodwill ambassador, where she ran contests and catapulted t-shirts into the crowd in order to build up crowd enthusiasm. Her blog will be the place to catch the latest in prison and incarceration issues, including capital punishment and labor implications of prison unions.
Mystyc Star Metrik (All Posts by Mystyc Metrik):
Mystyc is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. She hails from Hamilton, New Jersey, where she interned in the Chambers of Chief Judge Garrett E. Brown, Jr. at the Trenton Federal Courthouse for the District of New Jersey. She is also a waitress at JoJo’s Tavern, where they make the best pizza in the world. In her spare time, she likes to go cycling or read culinary mysteries. Check out her blog to get the latest on the nuts and bolts of law journals.

Randy is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. Originally born in Trinidad, Randy moved to the United States when he was 11. He now lives in Queens, New York, and he came to law school right after college. In his spare time, Randy enjoys going to the movies, and he’s one of the few students at Cornell who handwrites their exams. For his blog, Randy will be talking to professors about their work and creating blog posts based on their scholarship.

Mariloly is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School, where she decided to substitute the uniformly gray weather of Ithaca for the sunny atmosphere of West Palm Beach, Florida. She came to law school after pursuing political science and criminology degrees at the University of South Florida. In her spare time, Mariloly enjoys culinary experimentation, and she especially likes to come up with inventive sushi rolls. In her blog, Mariloly will be pursuing blog contributions from professors and policy makers.

Puja is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. Puja comes from Southern California, but dreams of moving to New York. Puja will be blogging regularly on current events involving high-profile media and privacy issues. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and learning about Kirk Sigmon’s fashion magazine.
Lisa Schmidt (All Posts by Lisa Schmidt):
Lisa is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. She comes to JLPP from the sunny beaches of Los Angeles, California, where she worked at a talent publicity agency for a few years before coming to law school. Lisa serves on the LALSA and CLSA boards this year, and she also writes for the LII. Additionally, she has a reputation for baking amazing cupcakes, particularly a mean red velvet. Her blog is the best place to catch the latest in election issues and hot debate topics, as well as pop culture and the law.
Kirk Sigmon (All Posts by Kirk Sigmon):
Kirk is a J.D. candidate for the class of 2013 at Cornell Law School. Kirk comes to Cornell from Newton, North Carolina, and he was formerly a political campaign consultant. He now owns a men’s fashion magazine, and he is also a competing member of Cornell’s Ballroom Dancing team. Kirk will be blogging predominantly about technology law, and handles the vast majority of the technical side of the JLPP blog.
